Lifestyle Session-Temecula Family Photographer

A "Lifestyle" session.....what is it???
Well, it's really nothing short of amazing if you ask me, which maybe you didn't, but I'm telling you anyway because I am so in love with the idea!!!!  A Lifestyle session is when the photographer comes to your house or somewhere you go often together as a family (or a couple) and basically acts as a "fly on a wall" while documenting the experience.
When I really think about why I love photography so much I think of these moments, the natural moments, the moments when I see kids riding on dad's shoulders eating an ice cream cone.  I see the moments when kids jump on the bed and when little boys curl up on their mama's lap wiping the sleep from their eyes to say good morning.
I don't know about you, but these are the moments I don't want to forget.  I love the idea of opening a photobook years from now and seeing my son playing with the castles he loved so much in the room that I spent hours painting for him.  I want to laugh at the picture of me throwing bread into my son's mouth instead of feeding the ducks.  When I see my husband holding up our brand new baby girl and kissing her forehead I want my eyes to fill with tears remembering the joy and awe we felt at that time.  We were SO fortunate to have Sarah from Val and Sarah Photography do a Lifestyle session for our family soon after we brought our new daughter home.
I have had people ask what they would "do" with Lifestyle pictures and my answer is: the same thing you do with pictures from a more traditional "posed" photo session.....frame them, print a canvas or wood print and my favorite.....make a photobook out of them.  I LOVE the idea of doing a Lifestyle session every year and having a photobook every year that represents "A Day In Your Life.".  Not only do you get to watch how everyone changes physically but also how your life changes.....your activities, your house, your decor, your dog, your....everything.
If you are interested in setting up a "Lifestyle" session please let me know and I will (be so excited) help you plan something really fun and meaningful!!!!!
In the meantime enjoy our family's Lifestyle session below:
